Benjamin Netanyahu gave authorisation for Knesset members to storm

members of the Knesset from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque in October 2015,
since the outbreak of the uprising in Jerusalem. In July he
temporarily lifted the ban following a legal petition by far-right
Knesset member Yehuda Glick." ca

| Israel: Jerusalem Palestinians Stripped of Status : Discriminatory Residency Revocations | | Human Rights Watch - Between the start of Israel’s occupation of East
Jerusalem in 1967 and the end of 2016, Israel revoked the status of at
least 14,595 Palestinians from East Jerusalem, according to the
Interior Ministry. Authorities have justified most revocations based
on a failure to prove a “center of life” in Jerusalem but, in recent
years, they have also revoked status to punish Palestinians accused of
attacking Israelis and as collective punishment against relatives of
suspected assailants. The discriminatory system pushes many
Palestinians to leave their home city in what amounts to forcible
transfers, a serious violation of international law.-rh | 9/8/2017 |

| The fog of Al Aqsa violence obscures the true face of Israel`s occupation | | Joseph Dana - The National - Any change to the status quo in the Old
City is cast in the media as part of a religious war. But is this
latest outbreak of violence really a religious fight or is it instead
a flash point in the battle between an occupying power and an occupied
people? In the age of ISIL and the historic transformation of the
Middle East, occupation doesn’t gather nearly the same attention as
religious conflict.-rh | 3/8/2017 |

an Israeli policeman holding his face in shock as paramedics tend to

Facebook to publish calls for the indiscriminate killing of Arabs,
for an ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, and even outright and
explicit calls for genocide-ak]
