Reflection at QalandiyaTamar Fleishman - The Palestine Chronicle - At first the computers were blamed but since no one found this convincing the DCO people at Gaza were next to take the blame. As though the ones over there, the soldiers at the Gaza DCO, were from the foreign legion or mercenaries, and not soldiers in the same army and the same unit as the soldiers who man the DCO at Qalandiya, whose duty it is to act as a coordination unit and respond to the needs of the occupied population.-rh25/6/2014

Israeli force apprehends Palestinian wearing suicide belt in West BankGili Cohen and Yaniv Kubovich--[Something more than odd about this episode. The Palestinian who was ‘caught’ is either a collaborator or deranged, or wanting to be “caught” for some personal reason—and there have been such. Real suicide bombers don’t go through checkpoints, unless they plan to blow themselves up there. This one obviously was not intending to do that. But surely he knew that he’d never get through the check point without being caught! Dorothy]dn 1/6/2014
