State offers illegal Migron outpost to remain in place until November 2015 | | Chaim Levinson-Haaretz / Tovah Lazaroff-Jerusalem Post / Yair Altman-Ynet / Peace Now - Migron is one of the settlements which are illegal under Israeli law [as well as International Law]. The Supreme Court ordered its evacuation until March 31. Minister Benny Begin offers the Migron settlers to stay on until November 2015 and then move to another site, two kilometres away. The settlers, however, demand further concessions from the government.

"In an unprecedented move, the Civil Administration`s zoning committee has rejected a government proposal to legalize the West Bank outpost of Sansana, saying there is no justification for a new settlement in the area because it is possible to build within existing ones. Israeli minister demands `holy` settler foothold inside Nablus | | AFP/Ynet - Israeli cabinet minister Yuli Edelstein, himself a West Bank settler demands that the site known as "Joseph`s Tomb" in the heart of Nablus be placed under permanent Israeli control and settler groups maintain a presence there, as was the situation until 2000. Settler rabbis are waging an ongoing campaign for resumption of Israeli control of the site.
