Settlers and soldiers continue to attack Palestinians and their escorts, coming to harvest olives on their land.

On 11th October 2008, three attacks took place. Yitzhar settlers stoned farmers from Hawara who were harvesting their (own) olives; two farmers were injured. Soldiers who came to the site ordered the farmers to leave their plot, and only after an hour were they permitted to return. Kedumim settlers attacked Palestinians who were harvesting their (own) olives, and finally soldiers prevented Kufr Qaddum Palestinians from harvesting their (own) olives on the pretext that they must co-ordinate the harvest with the army, in spite of the fact that they were situated far from the settlement Kedumim (harvesting plots near to it necessitate co-ordination with the army).

On 14th October, 2008, Kedumim settlers harassed Palestinian farmers from Kufr Qaddum during their harvest. The soldiers who came to the spot tried to evict the Palestinians and their company.

On 16th October, 2008, settlers from Elon Moreh attacked Palestinians from `Azmut who were harvesting olives. The settlers damaged one of the Palestinian` s vehicle. An approach to the military by a Palestinian to gain protection caused the eviction of the complainant.

Needless to say, in no single case was any attacker arrested.
