Six Jewish settlers were arrested on Tuesday during the razing of the illegal West Bank outpost Ramat Migron. The settlers hurled stones at security forces and tried to block their path.

Soldiers arrived at the outpost in the morning and quickly took it over while additional forces blocked roads and trails leading to it to prevent rightists from disrupting the demolition works. The soldiers left after they razed five makeshift structures in two hours.

Two settlers were detained for throwing stones at security forces, while four others were arrested for trying to set fire to a nearby vineyard owned by Palestinians as part of the West Bank Jews` `price tag` policy.

Some 15 `Hilltop Youth` members reside in the outpost, which is located near the settlement of Migron. `The razing doesn`t faze us. Every few months security forces come here and demolish structures, and we always build more structures in response. Our goal is to build the Land of Israel, and we will carry on until this mission is completed,` said Meir Bartler, one of the leaders of `Hilltop Youth.`

Settler leader Daniela Weiss said NIS 10,000 (about $2,800) have already been raised to rebuild the outpost.

Itzik Shadmi, who heads the Binyamin Citizens Committee, attacked Ehud Barak, saying the defense minister`s `destructive urges have not stopped even after he resigned from the Labor Party.

`I guess it is difficult for him to see Jews implementing the Zionist vision in the Land of Israel. The committee will not remain silent in light of the defense minister`s serial destruction,` he said.
