A protest in Silwan this Friday and signing up for shifts with the families directly threatened with eviction

Friday afternoon 9.10, there will be a solidarity demonstration in the Batan al-Hawa neighborhood of Silwan in protest of the housing evictions.

We will meet on Friday, 9.10 at 13:15 in Bell Park. From there, we will leave together by bus and by private vehicles towards the neighborhood. The protest will begin at 14:00 in Silwan.

Taking shifts at the home of the Abu Nab family - October 11-25:

On Sunday, Oct. 11, the eviction order will come into effect for the two families who live in the Abu Nab family`s home in Batan El-Hawa in Silwan. The order will be in effect for two weeks, until Oct. 25, and we are planning on taking shifts to be with the family every night during these two weeks, between 8 p.m and 7 a.m.
