On Thursday night, January 10, 2019, praying Jews came to the Palestinian village Awarta (west of the Jewish settler-colony Itamar) to hold the `festivity of the seventy elders and the sons of Aharon the Priest, Elazar and Itamar`. The Israeli army closed off the village and escorted the observants. The next day, Awarta villagers discovered that three of their cemetery`s gravestones had been desecrated.

In the third week of 2019, Bedouins in several Negev villages were forced to demolish their own homes under the threat that if they don`t, the State will and they will have to cover the expenses! At Ghagha (southeast of Hura) one home, at Wadi Ghwayin (in Mulda`a) three homes, and in Al Watan (south of Hura), two homes.
