מגזין הכיבוש - אקטיביזם עמוד הבית  חזרה הדפס  שלח לחבר פעילויות באל וולא`גה - 8-9 באוקטובר שלום, נא להפיץ English follows... סביב הכפר אל-וולג`ה שנמצא מדרום מערב לירושלים נבנית גדר-ההפרדה - ברובה חומת בטון - אשר תכתר את הכפר מכל עבריו, תנתק אותו מהסביבה ותגזול את אדמותיו. מלבד הפגיעה בתושבים הגדר יוצרת נזק אנוש לסביבה ולמרקם השטח הטבעי והחקלאי הייחודי. מזה מספר חודשים מתנהל מאבק עממי לא אלים בכפר נגד תוואי הגדר, הכולל הפגנות שבועיות ופעולות ישירות לעצירת העבודות. תושבי הכפר הגישו עתירה לבג`ץ בדרישה לשנות את תוואי הגדר, אליה הצטרפה גם החברה להגנת הטבע. בית המשפט סירב להוציא צו-ביניים להפסקת העבודות עד לבירור העתירה, והבנייה מתקדמת בקצב מדאיג. לאחר החגים יתקיים דיון בתשובת המדינה לעתירה, במועד שטרם נקבע. בעת הדיון נקיים הפגנת תמיכה בעתירת תושבי הכפר מול בית המשפט העליון פרטים מדוייקים ימסרו כשייקבע מועד הדיון. בנוסף נקיים סיורים בכפר ובתוואי הגדר בימים שישי ושבת 8-9.10 בשעות הבוקר. ביום שישי תהייה אפשרות להצטרף לאחר הסיור להפגנה השבועית. לפרטים, הרשמה לסיורים ועזרה בארגון ההפגנה: אור- במייל firubat@yahoo.com או בטל` 0525-247285 למידע נוסף על הכפר והמאבק: al-walaja.blogspot.com Around Al-Walaja village, south-west to Jerusalem, the separation barrier - mostly a concrete wall - is being built, and will surround the village from all sides, cut it off from its surroundings and steal it`s lands. Besides all that it will inflict critical damage to the environment and the unique natural and agricultural landscape. For a few months a non-violent popular struggle is taking place in the village against the wall, which includes weekly demonstrations and direct actions against the construction. The people of the village appealed to the the court, demanding to change the route of the wall. The Society for Protection of Nature has also joined the appeal. The court refused to issue a temporary order to stop the construction until the appeal is settled, and it is going on in a worrisome pace. After the holidays there will be a court discussion concerning the state`s reply to the appeal in a date not yet determined. During the discussion we will have a demonstration tho support the villager`s appeal in front of the supreme court Further details will be given when the discussion`s date will be determined. In addition we will make tours in the village and the wall`s route on friday and saturday 8-9.10. On friday it will be possible to join the weekly demonstration after the tour.
