מגזין הכיבוש - אקטיביזם עמוד הבית  חזרה הדפס  שלח לחבר הפגנה בשייח ג`ראח, יום שישי הקרוב, 29 באפריל, בשעה 16:00 + בקשה לתרומות English follows Hebrew סולידריות יחד נגד הדיכוי והעוול, ובעד שיוויון אזרחי הפגנה בשייח ג`ראח, יום שישי הקרוב, 29 באפריל, בשעה 16:00 בערב פסח חולקו לחמש משפחות במתחם אום-הארון בשייח ג`ראח תביעות לפינוי מבתיהן על ידי עמותת מתנחלים. המשפחות מתגוררות בבתים מזה עשרות שנים. הפינוי המתוכנן הוא חלק מתכנית-על לייהד את שכונת שייח`-ג`ראח, תהליך אשר תוצאותיו פינוי וגירוש של התושבים הפלסטינים הגרים שם כיום, אשר רבים מהם פליטי 48`. לא רק בשייח`-ג`ראח מאיימות עמותות מתנחלים על מהלך חייהם של התושבים הפלסטינים, זוהי תופעה נפוצה בכל מזרח ירושלים. במהלך חול המועד פסח, נכחה `סולידריות` בסילוואן, וערכה סיורים ברחבי סילוואן על מנת לעורר מודעות לתפקידה של עמותת אלע`ד בניהול האתר `עיר דוד` ובחלקה בהתנחלויות בסילוואן. The planned eviction is part of a large program to Judiaze Sheikh-Jarrah. The consequences of this plan will be the eviction and deportation of the Palestinian families living there today, most of whom are refuges from 48’. Not only in Sheikh-Jarrah are settler organization threatening the course of life of Palestinian residents. This process is taking place all over East-Jerusalem. During the Passover Hol-Hamoed “Solidarity” organized tours in Silwan explaining the role of the voluntary-organization ELAD in the running of “City of David” as well as ELAD’s part in the settlements in Silwan (more information can be found here). In addition, “Solidarity” has launched an international campaign aiming to exclude “City of David”, run by ELAD, from popular tourist guidebooks, first and foremost from the “Lonely Planet”.
