On Wednesday, 24th April, 2013, IDF soldiers came to several Palestinian
villages
in the northern Jordan Valley: Ein elHilwe, El-Maleh and Yarza. They demolished
14 buildings that were either people’s homes or used for agriculture. In
addition, the IDF ordered some 100 families in El-Maleh, Hamsa, El-Hadidiyya and
Ras El Ahmar to vacate their homes for two days, starting 29th April, 2013,
because of army exercises to be carried out in the area.
