Occupation magazine - Activism Home page  back Print  Send To friend Update on Conscientious Objector Natan Blanc David Blanc email March 24, 2013 Natan Blanc, who was released from his seventh term in military prison on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, appeared at his request before a `Incompatibility Committee` at the Israeli Army Induction Center Last Thursday, and today he was informed that he cannot be released from military service, but will have to be inducted, do basic training, and serve in uniform wherever he is sent. As a result, he is scheduled to return to the Induction Center on April 2, presumably in order to be tried and sentenced to an additional term in military prison for his continuing refusal to serve. I will keep you informed of what happens in the next ten days.
