The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil,
but because of the people who don't do anything about it

We will not be moved from Atir and Umm al-Hiran!

We will not be moved from Atir and Umm al-Hiran!
Call for Protest and Sit-in
The popular committee of the villages Atir and Umm al-Hiran calls upon you to join the protest rally against the uprooting of the villages on Thursday, March 3, at 10:45 AM from the Beer Sheva city market to the Beer Sheva courthouse where a demonstration will take place at 11:30. The protest follows the refusal of the Israeli Supreme Court to reconsider decision to demolish Atir-Umm al-Hiran and evict all residents
** We are organizing transportation from the north , center and south of the country, please register in advance:**
Friends, after the legal measures have been exhausted, it is clearer than ever that the only way for the people is to take a tough stand. We, the residents of Atir and Umm al-Hiran, have vowed to stay on our lands whatever the outcome.
It is obvious that destruction and eviction would not stop with Umm al-Hiran in case it happens; additional villages, including al-Zarnuk; Bir Mshash and Qatamat, are threatened by total destruction and eviction. The weekly demolitions and harassment continue throughout the Negev. Today, more than 50,000 house are doomed for destruction throughout the Arab society. It is our responsibility to say loudly and clearly, We schall not be moved ! It is intolerable to uproot a village and its residents, in order to bring in settlers, to establish a new Jewish town with the name of Hiran to obliterate space and history.
We call upon you to support us with all your followers, so Umm al-Hiran and Atir would not face its faith alone. Remember - Umm al-Hiran and Atir are on guard - together we will stop the uprooting as we`ve stopped the miserable Prawer bill before
